  • How long does it take for my order to be shipped?
    We typically process and ship orders within 3 business days. However, during busy holiday seasons or promotions, it may take up to 5 business days for your order to be shipped. Once your order has been shipped. If you have any questions or concerns about the shipping process, please do not hesitate to contact us.
  • What are your hours of operation for pick up orders?
    We are a small family business and currently do not have a physical store location. However, you can place an order on our website anytime and we offer pick up on Thursdays from 1-7 pm in Kirkland, IL. We are unable to accommodate other pick up times at this moment. ** If you have an ILLINOIS address, we can also ship your order to you.** Thank you for your understanding and support as we grow our business
  • How long will the cotton candy stay fresh?
    We highly advise you to indulge in your Sweet Swirl Cotton Candy as soon as it's delivered to fully savor its freshness. When stored appropriately in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, our products can maintain their freshness for a few weeks. Unopened takeaways can stay fresh for up to 2 months, while tubs are best enjoyed within 2 weeks. Please be aware that frequent opening and closing of tubs will diminish their freshness and accelerate the hardening process.
  • What is your return policy?
    We strive to provide the best quality products and customer service possible. In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your order, please notify us immediately (within 24 hours of pick-up or delivery) of your concern. We require at least 80% of the product be returned, along with proof of purchase, in order to evaluate and address any issues. We do not offer refunds or returns for any other reasons. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Are your products safe for people with allergies?
    Our products are made in a private home kitchen where we do have nuts, dairy, eggs and gluten in our kitchen. While some of our products do not contain these allergens, we cannot guarantee that they have not come into contact with them during the baking process. We recommend that customers with severe allergies exercise caution when consuming our products.
    To reserve a date for your private event, we require a 50% deposit of the total event cost along with a signed Service Agreement provided by Sweet Swirl Cotton Candy. The remaining balance must be settled with Sweet Swirl Cotton Candy no later than 7 days before the event date. Please note that this policy is strictly enforced and no exceptions can be made.
    Payment options include invoice, PayPal, Venmo, and cash.
    At Sweet Swirl Cotton Candy, our deposit policy is designed to ensure the availability of our services for your event. We understand that circumstances may change, and in such cases, we encourage open communication. In the event of a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible. We prefer to work with you to reschedule your event for another suitable date. If rescheduling is not possible, we will proceed with canceling your event appointment. Cancellations are subject to a $35.00 cancellation fee. In the event of a cancellation, the deposit amount will not be refunded but can be applied as a credit for a future booking within a specified timeframe. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our policy, as it allows us to continue providing our high-quality services to all of our valued clients.
    We travel to events in Northern, IL and Southern, WI. However, any event 30 miles or more from starting location of zip code 60146 will be assessed a mileage charge of $25.00 plus .30 cents per mile.
    For all events requiring Sweet SwirlCotton Candy, we kindly request a minimum of one week's notice. Please be aware that any event booked with less than a 72-hour (3-day) notice will incur a $50.00 fee.
